There are 2 methods to donate by credit card:

  • By Internet: Click here to Donate Online to missionaries and projects by credit card through Canada Helps. Continuous monthly donations can also be set up here. Visa, Mastercard or American Express accepted. For information on donations made through Canada Helps, please see the Canada Helps FAQ's.

Please note that personal gifts to missionaries (Christmas, birthday, etc.) cannot be processed online through Canada Helps. Canada Helps automatically issues a tax-deductible receipt and therefore the gift must be used for ministry purposes. Please phone the office to process personal gifts.

Refunding of Donations: Donation Refunds: According to the Canada Revenue Agency, "a registered charity cannot return a donor's gift. At law, a gift transfers ownership of the money or other gifted property from the donor to the charity.  Once the transfer is made, the charity is obliged to use the gift in carrying out its charitable purposes." If you believe an error has been made in your donation, please contact ABWE Canada as soon as possible.  If an amount has been charged to your credit card or withdrawn from your bank account in error, this will be refunded through the same method by which it was originally processed.

ABWE Canada Statement of Accountability: Spending of funds is confined to board approved programs and projects. Each restricted contribution designated towards a board-approved program or project will be used as designated, with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed, the remaining contributions designated for such program or project will be used where needed most.

ABWE Canada encourages contributors to seek independent professional advice before making a significant gift.
